Sell products through Staff App!
This update introduces the ability to purchase products directly through the Staff App. Our end goal is to reduce the number of apps your staff and members need to use, and simplify the user experience. By adding support for product purchases in the Staff App, we can phase out the Store App (Q2)
Note: this is an Open Beta release. At this time, guest checkout and adding new payment options is not available through Staff App. If your business uses any of the above, continue to use the Store App until the full releases, targeted for March 2024.
What’s Included:
- Product Purchases by Members: Members can now make product purchases conveniently through the Staff App’s Kiosk Mode.
- Payment Methods: Support for various payment methods. These available options are set by the Admin:
- Cash (configurable by gym)
- Credit card on file (with options to add to account or charge immediately, configurable by gym)
- (New) Bank on file (including SEPA, CAD, etc.)
- Identity Verification for Members with PIN: If the PIN requirement is enabled by an Admin, members can set their own PIN in the Member App and use the PIN to make purchases through Staff App (requires members to update Member App to v3.15.0
- Staff Mode Integration: Staff can facilitate product purchases on behalf of members using the Staff Mode, with the added capability to apply discounts.
What you need to do
- Log into your Core Account. Go to Apps > App Store > Staff App > Configure
- Find the section for "Product Purchases (Beta)"
- Configure payment and security settings
- Save
To allow product purchases in Staff App:
- In Staff App Settings on your device, enter Kiosk Mode
- In Kiosk Mode settings, enable “Allow Product Purchases”
