In the latest update to Staff App 2.0.0, we’ve introduced several powerful new features to enhance your workflow, especially if your gym uses Train for workout programming. Staff members can now:
- View Benchmark History: Easily access the benchmark history for any member or yourself.
- Log Workout Results: Record workout results on behalf of members or yourself directly from the app.
- Book Recurring Appointments: Schedule a series of recurring appointments for members.
- Book Appointments Without Credits: Book appointments even if the member has no credits available, aligning with Core's logic.
How It Works
View Benchmark History
Staff members can now view past results for benchmark workouts or movements. This feature is accessible directly in the app, allowing for quick and easy reference.
Log a Result
Logging a result for a workout or movement is now streamlined. Staff can record results for individual members, making it easier to track progress.
Book Recurring Appointments
Staff members can now book a series of recurring appointments for members, simplifying the scheduling process and ensuring consistent engagement.
Book Appointments Without Requiring Credits
We’ve removed the restriction that prevented staff from booking appointments if a member had no available credits. This feature now aligns with the Core logic, providing greater flexibility in managing member appointments.

- What is the “History” button?
- The "History" button allows staff to view past results of benchmark workouts or movements for any member who has logged them previously.
- Can I view benchmark history for an entire class?
- Currently, you can only view results for one individual at a time. If you’re interested in class-wide functionality, please schedule time on our product team’s calendar to discuss your needs.
- Can I log results for an entire class at once?
- At the moment, results can only be logged for one individual at a time. We are exploring options for expanding this feature. Please let us know your feedback by scheduling time on our product team’s calendar.
- Can I cancel a recurring appointment series?
- Staff can cancel individual appointments within a recurring series via the Staff App. To cancel an entire series, you will need to use Core.
